I can't fault him, but it's still lame, and it messed up the league for the next 4 or 5 seasons.

Everyone needs to calm down. We were all certain the Spurs Warriors WCF winner this year would beat the Cavs in the finals. You don't know how it plays out. Warriors now have no bench. If they lose one of those guys to a big injury, etc....relax

From the years 1991-1998, the NBA had a grand total of two different champions.

TWO!

The Bulls and the Rockets.

Over the last four years, the NBA has had four different champions. Miami. San Antonio. Golden State. Cleveland.

And yet some of you think that today's NBA Championship has become predictable.

How quickly we forget the past.

In 2006, the Dallas Mavericks won the West. That was the only year between 1999 and 2010 that the West was won by a team not named the Lakers or Spurs.

Yep.

In 25 seasons from 1980 - 2005..... 7 different teams won a title.

In the 11 seasons since.... 7 different teams have won the title

.

Yes, the lone predictability to the NBA Championship now is that whatever team LeBron is on will win the East.
