When Cleveland plays Golden State

The NBA just became as unwatchable a regular season as any sport I could remember

If Durant signs in Boston, the East becomes must watch TV

if Durant stays in OKC, many people have them coming out of the West

Now? the impact of this one move has destroyed it all

Most cowardly move by a superstar i can remember in any sport

Oh, it will be watched.

Indifference has gone out the window. People will find themselves rooted firmly in the Warriors camp or the anti-Warriors camp.

Bumps and obstacles and losses will come for the Warriors keeping both camps invested and interested throughout the entire journey. Matchups with the Spurs, Thunder, & Cavs along the way will be hyped well beyond their actual significance.

I think next season is going to be a fun ride.

Im not sure i would.....Many of us would have OKC coming out of the West if Durant returns, he didnt leave a bare cupboard

Are you really MORE impressed by Durants' career when he wins 2, 3 titles, on a team that has proven it could break records, and win titles without him?

I guess in 20 years, that will look like a more impressive resume, but right now? Think its a cheap way to enhance a legacy

Sure, there are a handful of matchups we will all look forward to

Guess im pointing out the 98% of the league that has now become virtually meaningless basketball

At the end of the day Durant wants to win multiple titles. He felt going to GS was his best chance to do that. Can't fault him at all

I do wonder how much Westbrook almost guaranteed to walk to the West Coast next season, played into this

Wonder if Russ himself said 'Do what you need to do dude, im here one more season'

By the way, Im thrilled as a GS fan

Brings back memories of when the Yankees used to add superstars every winter, to a team full of superstars

West seems like that type to be straight up with him. Got to remember he's entering his 10th year. He really would not be able to deal with West leaving and being stuck in OKC

I can't fault him, but it's still lame, and it messed up the league for the next 4 or 5 seasons.

I could see a Westbrook to the Lakers for Russell and Randle deal this coming season

i think he signed a 1 year and 1 year for a reason....

honestly- i think he got scared- and just wants to get a title - and then he will do similar to lebron....i dunno why , i jsut think that...i think he got scared he would be the next malone and almost feels like he needs to get this out of the way before he can relax...

this season is gonna test durant in ways he never thought possible with that no-scrutiny small market ass kiss thing he had going on....read that espn article, that dude makes Lebron look like freaking Honest Abe. lol.

No way.
Lakers can get him as a FA next season, and if he wants to go there, he'd want as much talent there as possible.
