No you're absolutely right. That was just pathetic. And I know that we've had some unfavorable calls all year, but we still get penalized way too much. What happens when we don't have that excuse of "the Big 12 is out to get us" next year and we still keep killing ourselves with false starts and holds??

The penalties will continue. Once in a while a team will have a bad game and maybe have a few penalties, but good God when penalties come in flurries almost every game like they do with our team, it just has to be a coaching issue.

By the way, did you watch the OSU / Arizona game last night? An OSU player by the name of Markelle Martin got penalized for a helmet helmet hit. I told my wife that Markelle was Eric's brother! She got a laugh out of that one!

Disclaimer: When I mentioned he was Eric's Brother, I had no intention of being racial, otherwise I would've said he was Eric's Brutha!

I just thought of something. The injured QB excuse will be used time and again I'm sure, but what's the excuse for inept offense against Texas when everyone else was scoring by the bundles against those guys? Hmmm?

That is why I don't use or buy in to any stupid QB injury excuse.

Shawn Watson's job is to be the OC AND the QB coach. Also look at the Big 12 title game. We have a total of 8 QBs on the roster. Are you (not you you but a general you) trying to tell me that there was not one of the 7 other QBs capable and/or ready to play over a 65%, at best, Taylor Martinez?

Everyone was also healthy during the South Dakota St game and Taylor got yanked from that game as well.

Anyone that uses the injury excuse for complete ineptness is dumb. And yes, that includes Osborne. Obviously he is not dumb, he just says it to back his coaches and be politically correct.
