GREAT GAME

Didn't go to this one but it was fun watching the game with my kids in the comfort of my great room. Another outstanding complete performance. Where has this been for the last 10 years? LOL. The teams seems to be playing with confidence as opposed to waiting for something bad to happen. The o-line has been playing much better both in the passing game and the running game since moving Saffold inside once he was back healthy. The special teams has been solid and the defense is playing well and they’ve cut down on the turnovers the last few games. These were probably the most enjoyable back to back Rams games since 2003. Let’s enjoy it while it lasts. It’s much better than bickering over Bradford vs. Clemens.

Quinn is a freakin beast... I was one of the only ones excited when we chose him, and it is paying off now.

It was good to see TJ McDonald back out there as well. Getting Finnegan out of there was an improvement.

What I like is that that they are taking it to the other team right from the start. Great call with Austin on that first score and good downfield blocking. It seems like the coaching staff has picked their game up as well. A good all-around effort from everyone. So much more enjoyable the last 2 weeks than what we say for most of the first 9 weeks.

I don't know that we've fully "turned a corner", just yet. That remains to be seen. But so far, I LOVE what I’m seeing. This team is finally coming together and playing like one. With all the talent we’ve been stockpiling, it was really only a matter of time. I like how Schotty is now throwing in the occasional wrinkle, now and again (that reverse misdirection, end-around to Tavon Austin was pure genius!). But, without key blocks from Kendricks, Givens and Pettis, Austin gains maybe 3 yards.

What’s most impressive to me is that the players are now finally taking those plays that most have decried as “boring” and “unimaginative” and making them work like they’re supposed to. THAT, my friends, is why we’re winning games.

I said I wasn’t going to get all riled up and excited about the Rams anymore this year, for fear of a big letdown… but man… are they making it damn difficult to stick to my guns on that end. Lol. LET'S GO RAMS!!!

I agree. I'll let you know after I see them play on the road at San Fran and Arizona.
