Coming into next year?

CJ - 9 (10 for career)
Tate - 8
Ross - 4
Fuller - 5
Broyles - 4
Ebron - incomplete. Last year a 4
Pettigrew - as a receiver, 4.5
Fauria - as a receiver - 6

Ugly after the first two unless Ebron takes a big step forward or Broyles somehow emerges healthy and playing like he did as a rookie. Even CJ must be a health concern going forward.

Pretty much agree w all this. Receivers will be a real weak spot moving forward w CJ aging unless Ebron blows up.

Megatron- 10

Not as good as he was two years ago, but still the best WR in the game. He's a future H.O.F. player, so he's a 10 if anyone's ever going to be a 10.

Tater- 8.3

Tate surprised many this year by finishing in the top-10 in both yards and receptions. He was a big-play machine and led all WRs in YAC yards. Definitely a high-level starter.

Fuller- 4.8

Fuller needs to continue to develop on the same arc he was on from last season to this season. He made a huge leap from his rookie year, and if he can do the same again this year then we're looking at a bonafide #3 WR. He's got great speed and athleticism, good length, and seems to track the deep ball well. He could jump up quite a ways on this scale with another strong season.

Ross- 4.4

Pretty much only a return specialist. Made a few big catches here and there this year, but really failed to stand out in extended action. I'd move on from Ross this offseason if it were my call.

Broyles- I

Another incomplete. I need to see him on the field in this offense and all healed up now before I can give him any sort of real grade.

Pettigrew- 6.5

Would have been much higher if he was used as a TE last season. Definitely has the potential to be a solid 7 to 7.5, but usage was very puzzling last season. This next season will tell us if Pettigrew is going to stick around or not, imo.

Fauria- 6.1

Lots of potential, but injuries derailed his sophomore season, so we're still looking at untapped potential and "maybes" with this guy. Great skill-set and lots of room to grow this upcoming season.

Ebron- 6.8

Disappointing rookie season, but loads of potential still. We should be looking at a vastly improved player this upcoming season if past performance on rookie TEs is any indication.

C.Johnson. 9.3
G.Tate. 7.8
A. Ross. 5.2
C. Fuller. 5.4 (much upside here)
R. Broyles. 5.1 (hurts me to grade him)
E. Ebron. 5.9 (same as Fuller in the upside dept)
B. Pettigrew. 6.7 (It's not his fault JoeyLombardi doesn't utilize)
J. Fuaria. 4.9. Not fast, can't block, gets hurt in kitchen.

Haha I like how getting hurt in the kitchen factors into it.

Ebron 6.8???

Indeed, His rookie numbers were on par with those of top TEs across the league. It's a position where pretty much nobody puts up much production, Gronk being the one exception I could find with his 10 rookie TEs.

Given the grading scale being used I think he falls somewhere in between "starter, but easily up-gradable" and "mid-level starter."

The point o this exercise if for us to get an idea of where we all think the team is at heading into next season, so its not as if I (we, anyone, really) should be projecting the same production for Ebron as a rookie...

My post doesn't read as I intended. When I say that Ebron's numbers were on par with those of top tight ends across the league, I mean to say that they're in line with top TE's rookie numbers. Certainly not in line with Gronk or Graham or Fleener or Olson on the current season.

Look at Graham, or Fleener or Vernon Davis or pretty much any rookie TE's statistics; they're all pretty stunningly low. It just seems to be the nature of the position.

Did you guys know that 23 WRs broke the 1,000 yard mark this season?

Of those 23, a whopping 7 (or over 30 percent) cracked said 1,000 mark by a single reception.

Crazy.

with the exception of davis , none were top ten, heck graham was 2nd to last of the third

fleener was in the second, but truthfully he has around a 50% reception rate, and only had maybe 4-6 good games this year......

C. Johnson- (9.5) Arguably the best in the game although his greatness overshadows his issues with press coverage and some drops here and there.

G. Tate- (8.0) He's legit and can hurt a defense with his run after catch ability.

C. Fuller- (5.7) Still trying to find his way but he did a good job fighting for a spot in the lineup. I think he's a good deep threat.

Ross- (4.9) Theres a reason the Pack let him go. He doesn't do much at all.

R. Broyles- (3) Cant even get on the field.

E. Ebron (6.8) On a different team, he puts up better numbers. Should see him more this year.

B. Pettigrew (6.5) Good all around TE.

J. Fauria (5.6) Good red-zone target.
