- He could become pretty attractive trade bait in the last two years for a cash-rich/cap-poor team

I jsut dont see why it needs to elevate like that. why not flat fee across the board. it just has no sense other than to think Wang will sell teh team before he reaches $5M so he can then NOT pay him that salary and drop it on a new owner. which makes sense I guess. that team is strange

Yeah I think it's 10 or 11 more years. Yashin's cap hit went down to 2.25 million or something like that. It's a 2.5 million decrease for the remainder of the contract. Of course the Yashin buyout will be on the books until at least 2015.
Yea but you still have plenty of money to spend and with a good young group of players.
