Mind me asking what you paid? I am in MN and the packages I have been seeing have been around $3k+. Which would be ok but the wife says I have to take my boys, which pushes it to $10k. Just too much for 1 game.

DAMN. I went a few years back for Oregon i think 2 tickets cost me 500 for the pair. plus the air and travel I think i pushed around 2K. then factor in food drinks taxi some fun stuff like universal and Hollywood Blvd.

Would gladly do that, but what I am seeing is, for airfare, hotel, and game ticked $10K. The other BCS games are at least half that.

Oh yeah I didnt do a package. did tickets on stubhub. found my own flight out of seattle. found a hotel that was just a touch more of a walk but not too far.

Congrats man. I "was" going to go I'm only 35 miles from the rose bowl. Actually went this year to see ucla/BYU. I'll just have to be happy sitting on my couch watching the Buckeyes in the fiesta. Good luck.
