I dont like Rome either. He has the skills of a jr high sports reporter and is guarenteed to say " that was a great interview" regardless of who he has on.

DP is spontaneous and funny, Rome is west coast wishy washy, hack on an

athlete for weeks, then call him/her great when he interviews them.

His Tv show is a spin off of his radio show....... what do you expect.......


I never watch his tv show........ cuz I work during that time of day.....


Again.... You can't script interviews......

I am not saying he scripts his interviewee's responses. He scripts the rest of the show when he is just talking. He has his list of questions in his interviews and will never deviate from that because he doesn't listen to the answers and just play off what they say.

I have been listening to Rome since late 99 and I do like him.

I think like any other radio program, he is going off an outline of what he wants to talk about. I believe the TV program is scripted (after the radio show) and telepromted based off what he said on the radio program.
