The only way I can see Hayward in a Suns uniform is if we trade for him mid-season. Signing a #3 option type player to a high $$$ contract(that is the only way Utah doesn't match) would be beyond retarded. The Suns finally have salary cap flexibility & you guys want to sign 2 players(Bledsoe & Hayward) to max type deals next summer?

The Suns need to get both Morris twins signed to an extension before the 14/15 season starts after getting Bledsoe's contract situation figured out.

Overpaying a good role player #3 option type player is not a good idea.

No one said give him a max? I said 8-10 million hes going to turn it around this year as the year goes on much like Harden as a first option. Hes only 23 I just think hes a perfect fit for our system. Just sign him and see if the Jazz let em go (which they have a history of doing).

Hes a 2nd option in our system much like Parsons last year. Bledsoe gets doubled boom Hayward for 3. We all know Hornaseck still works with peoples shots. Dragics shot is beautiful now.

At $8-10 mil, Utah will match that easily. The only way Utah doesn't match is if he gets a contract in the max range. Even @ $8-10 mil, why would you pay a guy like that just to hit the open corner 3. There are a plethora of guys who you could sign to do that at half the price. Heck, "little" Morris is doing that right now.

I have no problem having Hayward on the Suns, but I do if the cost is too high. To me Hayward is nothing more than a complimentary #3 option for most teams. Goran & Bledsoe are the #1 & #2(both are interchangeable on any given night) options.

Doesn't Hayward remind you of Hornaseck.

I like both Hayward and Parsons quite a bit. I'd love to add Hayward to our team though.

Bledsoe-Dragic-Hayward-Randle (please)- Plumlee

That would be a sick lineup.

Hayward has shown flashes of putting up monster stats. I dont think hes a 2 guard though I think hes a sf who spots up shoots, can create but not a guy who can get to the basket and slash at will but can create his own shot but because of his ability to rebound, defend, and his size hes a sf.

If he develops a corner 3 and becomes more of a spot up shooter that spaces the floor, but play combo guard at times and run the point when drag and bled need a break, then we have 3 ball handlers who can create but hes gotta play a sf role and look to spot up, run the floor, and play on the glass like Marion did but play guard when we need him to im scared he could mess up drag and bleds chem.
