Congratulations Bengals. Bungles no more. First road playoff win in franchise history. First conference championship game since 1988. And guess who they played.....The Buffalo Bills!
Marvin was a ginger, nah, ain’t buyingtold you guys.
they got rid of the gingers on this team.
This team has a soul again!
The last time a QB won a playoff game while taking at least 9 sacks was Len Dawson of the Chiefs defeating the Buffalo Bill in the AFL championship in 1966 to advance to Super Bowl ICongratulations Bengals. So what you're saying is...Lets Go Buffalo! The last time a QB won a playoff game while taking at least 9 sacks was Len Dawson of the Chiefs defeating the Buffalo Bill in the AFL championship in 1966 to advance to Super Bowl I
Has an NFL team ever won a postseason game when their QB was sacked 9 times? That was incredible.
Yes, The Kansas City Chiefs over the Bills in the 1966-67 AFL Championship to reach SB I. Len Dawson's Chiefs won 31-7, IIRC.Has an NFL team ever won a postseason game when their QB was sacked 9 times? That was incredible.
Gotcha - yeah that's going back a long ways. I just couldn't get over how despite the number of sacks and hits Burrows took, the man just kept bringing his team back. Kid's got some stones on him. From what I found the '66 Chiefs are the only other team to win a playoff game when the QB was sacked nine times.

Have to agree. He looks like a keeper, that's for sure.Burrow's fun to watch. The Bengals gotta damn good QB for many years to come. And yes I'm jealous.
He was disappointing in his rookie season, no arguing that. But I have faith that what he really needs is good old fashioned experience. He has the tools to succeed in this league.Just outta curiosity how much faith do you have in Fields as your QB of the future? And who would you like to see as the next HC?

He needs the right coaching @Lake Shore Drive . Nagy seemed to think he could make the kid fit his scheme. At least, that's what it looked like to me. Also, Da Bears need a few more pieces around Fields. Then see if the kid can progress like Josh Allen did.He was disappointing in his rookie season, no arguing that.
