Maybe deal Paul to the Wolves for Wiggins in hope you can salvage his career. Wolves finally get a good PG and save a year of salary to get out of purgatory quicker while remaining playoff viable. Probably Houston would have to give up more too. Deing can be added as salary filler.

For example, Paul still has 3 years left on his contract, but can he be traded for players who only have 1 year left on their contracts but whose combined salary matches Paul's salary for this upcoming season?
