Too bad they're gonna fuck it up.
No doubt all hinges on Baker/coachesThat's a ton of cap to make moves in the upcoming years and to sign their young stars but it still all depends on Mayfield and this coaching staff. If he has a great year, the future is bright....if he has minimal improvement or another down year, all for nothing imo.

The Browns' ineptitude makes the Mets look like geniuses.
Serious question....
I know.
"It's gonna be different this time!"Serious question....
Can you comfortably defend the Browns?
If "different" is like your socially awkward cousin who wears cat shirts and still roller skates every Tuesday night religiously, then well yes!"It's gonna be different this time!"
Serious question.....defend what? I only care about the current regime and what their plan is now and moving forward.Serious question....

and, in fact, it is......FO and coach are on same page. coaches say what they need. FO goes and gets players to fit."It's gonna be different this time!"

thirdly, I doubt the Browns have predictions by fans and media in mind from last year when they make roster moves.Question:
Isn't EVERY team building for the SuperBowl in theory?
Secondly, have the Browns not learned their lessons from previous predictions?
I'm guessing they think a playoff run this year is possible if we have 2018 Baker. And if they get there, who knows? But agree more realistic would be a SB run the following season. All depends on the QB. I agree with the notion it could be 2021/2022 if he takes a big step forward this year. Seems like a decent roster with a few holes to plug but if they have 2019 Baker it wont matter. Year 3 is a big one for him
Ok current regime it is....how can you defend their track record?Serious question.....defend what? I only care about the current regime and what their plan is now and moving forward.
I am sure they do not. However, this begs the question what exactly do they have in mind? That's just it, no one knows INCLUDING THEMthirdly, I doubt the Browns have predictions by fans and media in mind from last year when they make roster moves.
Not much of a track record of being in charge, but I'll bite.Ok current regime it is....how can you defend their track record?
Put together a roster that fits the scheme of the coach. Definitely refreshing here.I am sure they do not. However, this begs the question what exactly do they have in mind? That's just it, no one knows INCLUDING THEM
