What's the "let's trade him for what we can get" point for this team in terms of annual salary?
Right now it is believed that the team is offering $20m per and that's 4 or 5 million less than Kirk and his team are asking for. Yes it can be worked out, I got that, but as I've asked, where's the breaking point for you?

For me it's $26 million per... if they want more, the clock is ticking, the deadline is just before the draft, then, it's trading time!!

What ever you get him signed for this year is going to look like a bargain before his contract expires. Sao it doesn't make any difference what the annual salary is. Its the guaranteed money that bites you in the ass. Ask Colin Kaepernik.

Yes I know, I'm not like someone else who worries about that. I just thought that it would be an interesting question for this forum to mull over. Of course we can extrapolate from that what the guarantee money would be from the annual salary if that helps.

I think Luck gets 23.5 annually. SO I cant see why Kc couldn't settle for that. IF KC wants to beat the Luck deal then I cry foul. The last I heard was the Skins offered 20 and the KC camp wants 24. I think it would be in that range which is fine with me.

So you say he wants 24 per year and the Skins are offering 20... My breaking point would be if the skins then counter with an offer of 22.5 or lets even say 23 to really show him some love and the KC camp still says "nope,, we want 24"... Then it becomes a principle matter and a pride matter and there's no reason to bargain anymore. At that point KC is just becoming an asshole about all of this and then I say at the point "well alrighty then,,see ya."

yes,, for a measly 1 million.

Not to go too far off topic, but I do believe last night, radio was mentioning Kirk playing out on the TAG is almost going to happen. No trade, No LTD. Washington is already low balling him, and going to SF just to be with Kyle is a fairy tale -- unless they are planning to go berserk in FA.

Again, as we get closer to FA and the draft, it's clear the media doesn't know crap about what our plans are, and so the only revenge appear to be slander and speculation

Not bad but why would he play for $20 million this year when he is signed for $24 million for this year?

Because when a guy hasnt thrown his coaches or team mates under the bus for losses. Is willing to put in the work to try and continue to improve, and the only things you can come up with as far as not resigning him are

1. He inst elite
2. He is asking for more than some people think he is worth

If you kinda dont want the guy in any case, you are going to cling to those two opinions as fact for all you are worth.
