Good news for Flames fans

Great to hear that Daymond Langkow has been cleared to return to light skating (very scary Ian White slapper to the back of his neck in Minnesota cut short his season).

The only downside to this news is that this probably means Lanks won't be going on LTIR and there goes some very much needed cap relief. Oh Mr. Sutter, you have some work to do and only about a month left to do it.

Langkow was in front of the Wild net and got checked from behind/side by a Wild defenseman. He lost his balance (fell forward) and the slapper from White nailed him in the back of his neck just below his helmet.

Right around 40 seconds shows where the puck hit Lanks.

Damn that hurts!! Notice how White is the closest one to him as he is being stretchered out. Gotta be a shitty feeling. He really cranked it.
