Good Luck to all fans whose teams are left.

Good Luck to all fans whose teams either didnt make the Dance or bowed out in the first 2 rounds in the upcoming season.

Good Luck to My beloved Canucks for whom the time is now to bring us to the promised land.

Good Luck to the old men Thomas, Recchi, Roloson who continue to defy father time and still produce at such an elite level.

Good Luck to and Good Grace to the Boogard family who will be going through a very tough time in this period.

Good luck to one and all.

Nice post Matt. Good luck to your Canucks also. Sorry to say but I think this is the Bruins year to hoist the cup. If they do, I'll be rooting for you next year. If the Bruins should lose to TB, I'll be rooting for whoever wins the west to win their first cup.

here's what gives me confidence:

Vigneault doesn't get the credit he deserves. But he has benefitted from self-starting, responsible players. That accountability has been there most of the season. There was pretty good evidence of it the night of Dec. 22, when the Canucks lost 5-4 in overtime Detroit because the Red Wings scored a pair of weak goals on Luongo. It was one of the most entertaining games of the season, an excellent effort by the Canucks against a team that has been everyone's measuring stick since the 1990s.

“It's not a short bus ride to the airport in Detroit,” Canuck assistant general manager Laurence Gilman recalled of that night. “It's a haul. And that entire trip, you could have heard a pin drop. There wasn't a peep – not from a coach, not from a trainer, not from a player. Guys were angry. They'd expected to win that game.

It's one thing for coaches and managers to have high expectations; it's another when players have those expectations for themselves. That was the point I knew our players had it. They knew they had something special going and could be the best, and nothing short of that was going to be acceptable.”

So for the Canucks, halfway to the Stanley Cup, nothing has changed.
