Our D looks MUCH improved. MUCH. Ditto for ST.

I am a bit confused by the play calling, but not sure what we could have done against your D.

All in all, if you consider your muffed punt didn't happen, we would have lost in regulation I think. We are pretty good team, but never on the first game. We will improve hopefully.

I believe after it has been played, the better team won.

Tevin Washington looked like a much improved passer...except on that last one VT's offense looked out of sync most of the night....some credit to GT's defense, but Logan Thomas looked like he was throwing to Stretch Armstrong half the time.

definitely was a good performance by GT, their offense could be especially dangerous this year because washington seems to have become a better passer, aside from the 1 int he had a great game through the air which could give this offense another dimension on a more consistent basis than in the past

i agree, they almost cracked the top 25 to start the season, i think they will be in the top 25 midway thru the season.

VT's defense showed up tonight.

The offense? Well it really did look out of sync, but for some reason that seems to be the case during the first game of the season every year. They pulled it together at the end when it counted.

+2. I think GT is going to be better than we initially gave them credit for. Offense (LT and the Line) didn't play good but I think their D was certainly improved. Once they get the guys back that they missed they will be even better.
