I know Michigan State lost quite a bit, particularly on defense but 13 points is a shit ton even if the game is at Autzen. I'd be taking those points for sure. Makes you wonder what the money line will be.

One aspect that I find interesting is that a person could presumably bet a line in June for a game that won't be played until December. Talk about a gamble ... both for the Golden Nugget and for the bettor.

Same thing happens for the derby. There's a week in January in Vegas you can bet on the derby. Odds are definitely better. However should your horse not make it to the derby, you lose. I know a guy who did this with California chrome. Put $100 on him to win the derby at 32-1 odds in January. Won himself $3200. But it's def a gamble.
