His size and style of play reminds me of Willenbrock. He will be missed on the OL next season. Not sold at all on Becton.

Nosal was a guard. Becton was/will be a tackle. But I agree Becton did not look good last year

You misunderstood. Willenbrock reminds me of Nosal, not Becton. Becton was terrible last year, even with his size.

well, hopefully he wont lose too much being out, and with Taylor and JGW having the blue jerseys on, by the time the season starts we should have no excuses at linebacker.

oh i agree with dismissing players that don't seem to follow rules..i was just saying that it seemed like a harsh punishment for just being drunk at tots...just was wondering what else might have happened. i knew of the late for curfew thing..but that's it.

There is NO WAY he (or many others downtown) was drunker than me Saturday night. I guess it's just luck (or un-luck) of the draw...

Yeah the players are pretty upset of Twitter, but that is what I woul expect to see the day it happens. If there as more to this (which I am pretty sure there has to be, didn't he have another charge for driving with a suspended license issue) that the coaches did what they thought was necessary. He was an important backup but it is better that it happened now so going into spring, Williams and some of the new guys will get a ton of snaps. I fully expect Tariq to be back and fine. He is a cerebral player and will be in the meetings and film room. I am more concerned about BT, and hope he comes back 100%, though I find Tyler more than capable of playing that position.
