I didn't realize Seattle GB was such and intense rivalry.

It's not. There was some controversy after the refs handed Seattle a victory on that one MNF game (the Tate "catch") and they don't like each other, but GB needs to win a game in the recent past to create a rivalry.

The Bills winning just game Seattle and everyone else a better shot at homefield advantage. Many people had this as a "win" for GB.
