I am not quite sure what you are answering or commenting on. I think there has to be some salvageable players on defense but if the defense is ranked 32nd I still say you can't give anyone a pass. That is what the new GM & coach etc is going to have to figure out.

Clearly, there are parts of the defense that aren’t living up to their billing. But I see individual talent, just wonder how much of this defense’s poor performance is due to coaching.
if you decide to employ a bend but don’t break strategy, it’s kinda important not to break. I’ll bet this defense leader in big plays surrendered. So if you are going to give up the big plays, you might as well be a wink martindale and bring 5 or 6 every time. Maybe you force some turnovers to combat the big plays you give up.

there,s talent on the defense,it just is,t being coached worth shit.look at the change chase made in san fran for comparision.
