I am that the Packers aren't leading the league in that department. But, of course the G-Men are last in their division... the officials wouldn't wanna make it to obvious on playing favorites.

Not surprised at the top 2. Rodgers is going to pressure defenses into giving up penalties rather than risk being burnt deep. Jones stares down receivers so they're getting to the receiver before the ball does. 2 very different causes for the same penalty.

On the other side of the ball. Teams least called for DPI

Houston has been flagged for ONE DPI, The Rams have been flagged twice, while Miami, Pittsburgh and Jacksonville have been flagged three times each.

I always found it odd that people feel the refs have some kind of group think agenda for or against certain teams...like they sit around saying let’s help team A or hurt team B

I have always felt an effective offensive strategy is to go up top 3 straight plays. Seems you will get a catch or flag at least once every 3 plays.

Exactly. I'm not surprised to see the Colts on there either. They had 4 in the San Fran game alone. Most of them due to Carson Wentz underthrowing his receivers.

Probably better to look at "Big Picture" on penalties and penalty yard differential (opponents yards compared to your team yards).

Leading league differential in yards (positive impact):
- Bengals 266 yards
- Colts 195 yards
- Broncos 192 yards

Worst in the league differential in yards (negative impact):
- Browns -199 yards
- Vikings -224 yards
- Bucs -248 yards

For the teams with best DPI:
- Giants 54 yards
- Packers 7 yards
- Cowboys -65 yards
- Pats 49 yards
- Cots see above
- Falcons 183 yards
- Raiders -103 yards

FYI - Rams are -39 yards

Penalty yard differential
