Giants farm director is leaving

Fred Stanley is stepping down as farm director . Two of the top candidates to replace him are Steve Decker former Giants player and Fresno manager . Also Shane Turner who managed in Fresno a while back.


Stanley worked in the Giants organization for the last 13 years. He took over Farm Director in 2007 for Jack Hiatt.


This should be a interesting hire coming up.

It's going to be hard to replace a guy who ushered Posey, Belt, Crawford, and MadBum through the farm system.
