Got out of the jam. Bottom of the 9th. Time for Giants baseball
No Doval does that on his own, he don’t need help implodingChapman with a bad play at third. Maybe not as good as advertised defensively. Doval is imploding because of it.
He managed to get out of it but the Dodgers got lucky on another bleeder into Center. I think Ramos may be a liability in Center. That is 3 balls he got a poor jump on that fell inNo Doval does that on his own, he don’t need help imploding
He got on base 4 times today though. But his base running blunder cost them at least one runI actually wouldn’t mind a home run from Chapman right now, I would dislike him less
.
But for a crappy team, they get their fair share of dramatic winsBlown opportunity. They do that too often.
Ya, but what killed them was the two boneheaded outs at 3rd base by Soler and Chapman. Each of those gaffes was followed by a double so that is at least two runs lost there. The game never should have reached extras. they could have won it in the 10th as well, but for the horrendous at bat by Bailey and don't forget Bailey dropping a great throw at the played that allowed a runner who was going to be out by a mile to scoreShould have taken out Howard earlier before the fail.
I like Slater (I know you don't) but at this point, his chances of being a Giant in 2025 are slim. This is his walk year and he is having the worst season of his career.Geez. Why is Slater still on the team. Strikes out can't even advance the leadoff walk
