It was reported today by Larry Baer that Willie McCovey was in the hospital to have some procedures done. Baer did'nt mention why Mac was in the Hospital but I hope it's not serious and he will get well soon.
One of my favorite memories of Willie McCovey was the day he launched a HR into the upper deck in right at the Stick. I can remember thinking that nobody can hit a ball that far. I think the only other guy I seen hit a ball that far up was Willie Stargell.
