Cool man. My wife and I right now are planing to go to the Tom Petty concert that night and grab some cheap tix for the Twins game earlier in the day. Should be a very good day!

Misk - We won't be going to no State Fair, that I can assure you. I'll probably get a hotel Downtown so I can go to a game, or two. Lena can find her way to the fairgrounds, the livestock barns give off an unmistakable odor to home in on. I'll keep in touch with you as the date approaches. I plan to burn the candle at both ends, big-time! Twins games, Turtle Lake Casino, Downtown Mpls joints & nightclubs, etc, etc.

I heard they put dice tables in that joint! I really like to shoot craps so that's why I gotta get there. We used to go there all the time when they built the new casino. Had great music on the stage and plenty of open card tables. It's been quite a while since I've been there. I'm sure a lot has changed.

That'd be cool! I'll do what I can to make that, it just depends on whether I am working out of town during that time or not. I'll try to get that figured out soon.
What are your thoughts about getting tickets? buy em ahead of time or get them at the gate?

I'm just planning on getting some cheap tix day of. Not too concerned myself about what tix I get since I have been a few times and had pretty good seats. This time I just want to get through the gates and hang around the joint.

When I left, Mystic still didn't have booze at the tables......NO BUENO! G .C. Hinkley was a lot of fun but Turtle Lake always seemed to be a good time too. Whichever one has dice will get my attention!

I see Turtle Lake now controls the Danbury, Wisc. casino formerly known as the "Hole in the Wall" casino. Went there a few times too, but that's a serious drive from Mpls!. Did it anyway, I won't deny I'm a stupid Norwegian!!

I have to play this weekend by ear PC I have been on 12 -16 hour shifts since we had all of those bad storms and another one is supposed to roll through tonight .. we still have tons of lines down ... and the company is thinking of forced OT this weekend .. I will know more by friday

Sweet! I will have my better half with me. It will be our first time going away from baby girl together. It should be fun but will feel a little wierd.

I was going to ask you also if you knew of a good way to score some cheap tickets out there? We have bought off stub hub in the past but were wondering if we might be able to just buy tix at the door/box office or maybe even off a scalper? Any adivice you can offer?
