Despite their lead throughout Georgia was never going to win this game. When they were up big, they had the deer in the headlights look (a little better than the falcons in last year's SB but more or less the same "never been here before" type of thing) and alabama looked more comfortable the whole way through.
It was a choke and they won't probably be able to get over that for a while BUT given how much vastly better alabama is than georgia, and how well they played on the season, there's no reason for a GA fan not to be happy.
It was a fun season and a great championship game. Overall, I'm fairly happy. Good game to alabama, who made the right decision at halftime and once they did that you started to get the feeling GA was going to lose control. Saban is of course still the king of CFB.
