Teams seem to be more interested in Brian Shaw.... smh good move short buss.
It was the right move.
It was unfortunate that he won "COY" in 2013, but this was based on his 10 year body of work.
16 of the 32 teams make the playoffs.
You essentially are hand delivered a 53% chance of making the playoffs by pure math.
Making the post-season is the minimum for a coach.
Making deep runs in the only way to keep a job.
Karl could not do what he was paid to do.
Win in the post-season.
Guys like Avery Johnson, Mike D'Antoni, and Mike Brown all achieved far more playoff success during the 10 years of Karl.
They were all fired as well since they did not get it done in the playoffs.
Any complaining about this ignores the NBA precedents.
Wouldn't that be a 50% chance of making the playoffs?
It looks like Pop is the only guy who doesn't fired after winning the award.
