They also look disorganized... Vancouver played the PK like the sharks of last year. Very passive tight box, lots of space at the point and along the boards, so the passes didnt have to be crisp and players could take their time... LA is pressuring all over the ice, pushing the sharks up the boards and pressuring up high. The only way to beat that is the move the puck fast and know where each other is. The sharks puck movement is super slow and their players are stagnant. its easy to stop since LA is moving their feet constantly and working 100x harder.
Its a simple game. LA is more physical, working much harder and selling out. And, most important of all, their best players are their hardest working players. Brown is incredible. Aside from cooch, the sharks best players are also their laziest and least consistent.
Ultimately, as I said last game, it's up to jumbo and patty. If they want to keep making shitty lazy drop passes or shooting one timers 60 feet out into the 2nd deck, then we have 5 more days of hockey to watch. If they decide to work, win battles in corners and most importantly in front the net and outwork and push around LA in front of the net, then the sharks have a chance.
