Thornton doing his best choke job so far this game (and I'm not even mad about the penalty that was a bad luck play). Huge saves by Niemi. Wow.

Pavelski went from goat to hero on that play. He looses the puck with a very weak play along the boards then comes back with a good poke check and nice pass.

He's been better than Joe (just because Patty is invisible and Joe's been really bad), but it's kind of like being better than a transient.

It was a nice pass, but that was all shot. It's not like it was an easy tap in, slam dunk play. Pavs did a good job with hard work there, but that was a laser beam shot that was perfectly placed. It's not like that pass guaranteed a goal.

On second look, you are spot on there. It was a nice forecheck and strong play by pavs on the boards, but demers fired a serious beauty with quick way out challenging. Hell of a shot and you are definitely right there...

Sharks need to shoot a puck to Quick's face....aim a bit higher...their SOG in this game are much more quality shots than in game 5.

Please come out up beat and score one or two more to put this team away...don't sit back and lay an egg......

If you thought Marleau blinks fast, try watching McSorley "analyzing" the game in between periods on the Kings feed... Blinks at least 3x faster! Holy shit!

For sure. Not taking anything away from Pavs, it was a heck of a play based on hard work and perseverance. That said, that was a fucking laser in that oh-so-tough to stop shot just over the kicker and just under the blocker. It's almost like the hole that opens up when a goalie doesn't know if he should get it with the glove or raise up the elbow. It's a tough decision on how you play the shot.
