This is very sad. Against a handicapped offensive team, the Sharks lack of a PK and inability to move their asses is very, very sad. It's funny, Remenda just mentioned after the first goal that your star players need to lead the way, yet we see Mrs. Thornton do what he does best, and that's disappear.

The bright side is the Sharks really didn't play badly for most of the period. A few bad penalties with a poor PK unit cost them though and I think we all knew they'd have to overcome their deficiencies on the PK if they wanted to go far in the playoffs.

The Sharks have trailed by 2 after one several times this year and found ways to come back and win. It's just a matter of how bad do the Sharks want it. A quick goal to start the 2nd would do wonders. Fall down 3-0 and that might end it.

It's not what the other team does, it comes down to how the Sharks decide to play. Kings have no fucking business winning in SJ, but the Sharks are playing generous hosts so far tonight with their fucking bullshit mentality in that period.
