I like this match-up for the Sharks a lot more than I did the Detroit one. As long as the Sharks limit their penalties they should be good.

They might not have a choice if the first period is any indication of how this series is gonna be called. 2 penalties and neither was even close to actually being one. The penalty kill is gonna have to be strong this series for sure, because it looks like Vancouver is gonna get a lot of gift power plays in addition to legitimate ones.

A couple of quick observations. Seems like both teams are pretty similar. Unlike the Wings, the Nucks are struggling with execution, they have a hard time setting up the PP, they make a ton of neutral zone turnovers, they're pretty similar to the Sharks in that aspect. The other thing is, why is this crowd so quiet? Are they just nervous? It doesn't even sound like a playoff game.

Panger reported that they wanted to get Huskins some playing time and would rather have Huskins play in game 1 rather than game 6 or 7. Essentially, it was Coach's decision not to play Demers.

I dont buy it though
