Playing like we did tonight will get us a lot of wins. Actually getting that consistency will the challenge though.
Defense showed up tonight..Gelinas even without the goal was a fuckin beast.

next shootout, put in Volchenkov, Gionta, and one of the goalies. We might win on element of surprise. Nobody knows what A-train will do on a shootout attempt.
I heard few weeks back, PD had a shootout contest and sadly only 4 players scored in the first round with Volchenkov being one of them.

Dude that's fucking weird. My buddy and I were saying we might as well put Volchenkov in because the goalie would have no idea what was coming, and then we were wondering if there is a rule stating whether or not goaltenders can act as shooters. I mean let's say Cam Janssen was in the lineup and we went through the lineup for a shootout, wouldn't you rather see Marty take an attempt than Cam?

the only shootout attempt i saw last night was elias. not sure if henrique or zajac lifted the puck. but why is it so fucking hard for them to lift the damn puck? the first vancouver player made it look so easy!

Random side note, maybe they've done this in the past, I don't remember, they have a sliding scale for ticket prices, so example a game on a Tuesday night against the Coyotes is significantly cheaper than a Friday night against the Rangers. So my buddy got refunded for the Ranger game that is being played in Yankee stadium since that game isn't at Prudential Center. But instead of refunding him the cost of 2 tickets for a Rangers game they took the average cost of tickets throughout the season. So basically he lost out on like $60 or so in the deal, kinda weak.
