Nice win. Good road game play with super goaltending from Scrivens. Add to that a monster game from Kopitar. He was an absolute beast.

Mentioned before Scrivens has looked better than Quick this season in an earlier thread. Not saying he is a starter, but he has been solid overall. Just don't put him in SOs and the Kings will be fine. Hopefully he holds the fort until Quick gets ready to roll.
Actually now that I mention it, maybe that should be motivation to start getting more ROT wins consistently. Scrivens was horrid against the Buffalo shooters - tough situation I know but that was ugly.

I don't think I'd evaluate Scrivens' ability in shootouts from that performance. Those two shootout goals were the first two shots he faced. He didn't see a shot on goal in the shade over a minute of overtime he got in for. Pretty tough spot. Granted he didn't look very good on those shots and got beat by the same move from both Buffalo shooters but I'll hold off judgement for now.

It was tough situation to be put in, he came in dead cold. I'm sure it's happened before too but he took the loss without facing a single shot.
