I don't think Bergy meant to touch the puck. To me it looked like his hand came off the stick on the face off and he was going to get hold of it again. Coincidental contact but still a penalty under the new rule.

I don't mind Lucic and Neil not going off. This isn't peewee hockey. :agree: :suds:

Two big guys with scoring touches getting into it. It was mutual. They did the exact same thing to each other. All even. I'm with you.

Well we knew we would be seeing some great hockey with the shortened season and we haven't been disappointed. I think not traveling to the opposite coast is really showing in the intensity of games. I can only imagine what the playoff games will be like with the teams being so fresh. :suds:

I wonder if that will carry on in the less-travel new conference/divisions but with the full schedule ? we'll see soon I guess

I wonder what happened to Letang. When they showed the play he got hurt on, I didn't actually see anything happen to him. Perhaps just twisted the wrong way or something? Reached too hard for some delicious pancakes?

Are there going to be less inter conference games? If so I bet the quality of hockey goes up a bit. I haven't traveled to the west coast often but when I did I did feel some jet lag and I didn't have to play a game within 24 hours

Blown opportunity on that rush. You have to at least get a shot on goal.

Wiping my brow after that sequence. The Bruins are starting to control play.

I would feel a lot better with an insurance marker...

Paul Martin, how about a goal? :)
