Fangio completely relies on talent over gameplanning. He calls the most bland ass defense I've ever seen, and when it stops working he has no clue how to counter what the offense is doing.

I could only imagine how ridiculously good this defense would be with a real DC like Rex or Rob Ryan.

I understand your point, but Washington is actually 17 overall in ranked defense. Not quite AS bad as you think they are in terms of yardage.
