The PK might have ended up being a good thing. Broke them out of the prevent they were trying to run. The Sharks weren't the sharpest, but they definitely were the better team tonight and they earned a well deserved win. Back to back shutouts for Niemi.

Good win for the Sharks. Not surprised that San Jose's win streak has coincided with Niemi's good play and the team playing the best team defense I've seen from them this year.

Only got to see the third on DVR. Great to see Niemi putting it together for a long stretch of games. Couture is the man. I know the Caps are in a season long slump this season, but shutting them out at home is definitely something to hang your hat on. Keep it up Sharks!
