Two scenarios I see playing out:
1) We get one more FG and we're holding on for dear life with the ball in Brees' hand.

2) We score a TD and Brees is driving for a tying TD or FG.

Either way this has the feeling of a down to the wire game.

That middle of the field stuff once they get within a shot of the endzone is scary stuff to defend. They seem to go to that stuff so much.

That's a heck of a kick in that situation from that distance in that stadium too. The old guy does it again.

I don't want to sound repetitive, but I'm just baffled at the thought process here. Is Harbaugh really just trying to prove a point, or is he delusional enough to think we can pass the ball as well as New Orleans? Our defense will only keep them at bay for so long.

on the runs we've ran, we havent gotten a solid push/gain... the saints are stacking the line for a blitz and theres no hole....

but we need to do something... catch VD on the sidelines or something.
