Better than getting no points, but the Rangers are a team the Sharks have gotta beat. Definitely a let down tonight.

Damn, I thought the Sharks deserved the 2 points. Fun game to watch. Glad Boyle is back and looking slick as ever.

The Sharks need to bury their chances when they come into play.

Unfortunately, Clowe couldn't score on his chance to win it, then Niemi couldn't make save on Wolski to end it. Damn frustrating that neither of those went the Sharks way. Fuck the shootout skills competition. At least they didn't blow this one to an inferior opponent in regulation and at least got the one point. That's the only positive, besides Boyle's play coming off the injury. Otherwise, fuck this game where the captain didn't decide to show up for almost all of it.

Sharks still need to score more goals. They are playing a very fine line here always going into OT/Shootouts. The law of averages says you will win some and lose just as many. Look at this homestand and last roadtrip. The homestand had 3 shootouts and one OT out of the 6 games. The other two they went 1 and 1 and in the shootout and OT games, they were 2-2. So really a .500 homestand, if you take away the fact they get a point losing in OT. Previous roadtrip, 1 win, and 2 OT wins. They are cutting it close every night. Go out and score some goals like Anaheim did against New York and then you won't have worry about taking your chances in OT/Shootouts.

Usually I find myself in 100percent agreement with you Jonny as you're one of the best around. That said, I respectfully disagree. Sharks deserved that game and they played with hustle and heart. As Kork said, you just gotta tip your hat to King Henrik as far as I'm concerned.
