been out all weekend but what a turnaround for this team. Every time they hit a tough stretch, they bounce back stronger than one of those super balls.

on two consecutive national telecasts, the rest of the country saw once again what a pitching rich/offensively barren team this is...one that wins.

FYWW!

Just got back from the yard....I was sitting behind this nerdy lookin' dude with a Hafner jersey on. Guy kept whining about how bad the Indians defense was and how lucky the Giants were to win the first two games of the series. He then stood up when the Giants got ahead 3-0 and said "that's it...it's a sweep" and started to whine about Carmona. He began blubbering like a little girl and his dad had to take him home after the sixth inning.

I kinda felt sorry for the kid....I mean we were VERY lucky that the Indians only scored 4 runs in the series. INCREDIBLY lucky to record 16 strikeouts today. INSANELY blessed to get that balk last night.

Poor kid, he's following a cursed team; I didn't have the heart to explain to him that winning low scoring, close games is how the World Champs roll. We're just mind numbingly lucky.

You've got to admit though, if the Tribe had played perfect baseball, one of these games might have gone into extra-innings.

Amazing to take 5 of 6 after the way the Giants looked to be fading coming into these series. The starting pitchers really stepped up (sans Sanchez). And the FYWW bullpen were brilliant.
