Huff's defense at RF is unacceptable. Time to start thinking about getting Schierholtz to play out there on occasion.

Our bullpen has been really bad as well so far. Defense and bully letting us down.

Runzler with a rough fucking outing. Every hit was ROPED....$

Yeah, our errors will definitely be higher than the 73 committed last season. Lack of range, bullpen, and not being able to manufacture runs are some things off the top of my head.

Isn't it weird that it seem like the ball is finding Huff while Torres has barely needed to move this entire series?

Yup, it's still early, so it's unfair to say for certain, but maybe we're not as deep as we thought we were.

Nah, just a few miscues in the field, and two poor bullpen performances. The Giants are the deepest team in the west - that will assert itself over 162 games.

I think long run, things will even out as the defense shouldn't be this bad.

Just all the breaks are leaning the doggers way, along with Kemp playing out of his mind.

I don't think LA can survive on baby hits and bloops all year

Runzler was close to having an easy inning, but he left some 2 strike pitches in hittable locations and paid for it.

What a rude awakening to start the 2011 season.

Runzler's appearance is a good illustration of how a starting staff that induces weak contact helps a defense look good (at least statistically).

hurts watching that

sorta like seeing them give up 4 runs to the doggers after getting the score even

Thanks gp, I needed that. I'm thinking the scene from Airplane "calm down get a hold of yourself"... ;)

yup, I didn't think he pitched that badly and then I look up and its 7-3

suffered a worse(er?) fate than he should of

Well, do you think a reliever who didn't finish his pitches deserves 4 runs on his ERA? Probably not but he should still finish his pitches.
