I will go out on a limb and say 1.

Through 7 agonizing innings, this prediction still looks good, sadly enough.

IIRC, one of the experts was down on our draft because he felt that Arroyo and Jones were likely NOT to sign, but that if they did, then we'd get like a B-.

I wish JA would just come in and pitch a 1-2-3 inning. Seems like he has to let the leadoff guy on, or it isn't enough of a challenge, or something.

So JA throws 13 pitches for three outs. That's at least six outs worth of pitches against us.

Are you down on the Giants draft like many national "experts"?

It's not the flashiest draft, there were a few names I liked with the first round pick that we could have had, Eric Jagielo for example. He could be a 30 homer guy in Yankee stadium, advance approach at the plate, should stick at 3rd base, maybe a LFer and could move through the system quickly. Obviously though, left-handed power is always a question in our Park.

But the Giants have a system and I have faith in it, they draft the guys they want and that fit the system. I think Arroyo is underrated though, he's sneaky athletic, and there are a few later picks I like.
