I've always felt you should really whip the puck around with quick passes on any PP especially a 5-3. Instead they skate around slow looking for an opening

Tg says he is out and wont come back. The last shift he played was the flyers goal. I went back to it and he seemed fine. He took a small hit on the board before it left the o zone. Hopefully ain't serious but could be if they took him out

Heard Chico said we had 15 missed shots tonight..felt like a lot more and Kovy had to have atleast 10 of em.

Dont know if its just a Russian thing but I know Malkin and Ovie have the same problem most nights.

I will take the 3 outta 4 points though. Flyers are done and you could see why they are 11th place in the East. The Schenn penalty under 2 mins should've been there season but the puck just didnt bounce our way.

I dont like Clarkson in that 2nd spot either but I guess DeBoer went with the hot group..gotta put in Henrique or even Loikitinov , who left the game , any update on him?

Whoever selected the 3 stars of that game was smoking crack.

1-Giroux 0 goals 0 assists
2-Talbot 1 goal 0 assists, gw in shootout
3-Clarkson 1 goal 0 assists

Bryz won that game for the Flyers. How the hell does Giroux barely show up and get 1st star in that game while Bryz gets none????? Is this why players are coming out less and less for star announcements than in the past? That probably deserves it's own thread though.

Irish, I know when Russian players are young, they are taught to shoot towards the post and crossbar. That could be why they miss the net more.
Here in North America, its more just get it on net.
You saw that shootout goal by Kovy. Wow.

Also, there is more emphasis in Russia (really all Europe) on passing and give and goes. Thats why you see them always make that extra pass. Its a habit.

Agree with Cup. Get Clarkson off the shootout next time. Same move each time.

Tough loss, too many missed opportunities. They need to forget this one.
