Sure, the hitters are not pulling their weight, but the pitchers seem to be acting like Lucy when Charlie tries to kick the ball. When they score, the pitchers are erasing the advantage immediately.

I agree with you. However, a couple games ago, they were showing a stat on TV, and apparently the Giants' pitchers are second in NL (MLB?) in shutdown innings.
