They get it on their batting gloves and then adjust their helmet. Some guys are disgusting. The last one I remember vividly was Manny "Steroid" Ramirez. His helmets were just filthy.

If it means the Giants get an impact bat (IFF), then yes. Unless Durty plans on signing a Giant friendly extension. In my humble opinion of course. There are MUCH worse 5th starters.
