Stolen from DumDumville:

Friday the 13 th Giants vs Cubbies

1- Torres CF
2- Sanchez 2B
3- Huff 1B
4- Posey C
5- Schierholtz RF
6- Ross LF
7- Fontenot SS
8- Tejada 3B
9- Bumgarner P

No Pat the Bat again

Good call. There is a lot of outfield to cover in that ballpark, and Dempster is right-handed. However, in 38 PA, Pat the Bat has an .896 OPS against him, which is pretty impressive. 0 HR, 8BB, 6 K and 4 GiDPs!

Another mid-day game. Great timing because I cut my head open diving into a chain link fence during my softball game last night. 5 staples and no desire to work.

Schierholtz defense and left-handed bat make him difficult to part with, so it is a definite possibility. Once Belt comes back, though, we're likely looking at a regular outfield of Belt-Torres-Ross with no real need for defensive replacements. It would be sad to see either Nate or Pat go, but I don't think either would have a very high WAR the rest of the year, regardless.

it's been years since I played fantasy baseball - only time for football for me.

Is a guy like Freddy valuable? I used to plug in those guys that had multiple position eligibility. Ty Wiggington was the man for infielders, lol

If this is true, than F him. He was signed knowing that he would be an escape valve role. Why would he sign for pennies on the dollar with us knowing that was the likely outcome and then bitch about it?

To be honest, I don't really believe that he is putting up a stink. He has not been performing well enough to really have a case.

what are they saying about Belts defense in the outfield?

I haven't heard or seen much, but he can't be as bad as Pat and Huff. Former college pitcher, too, so his arm should be alright. Bring the kid back up!

how unhappy did Urban make it sound? If it was a matter of him wanting to do more - can't blame him but if Burrell's going to be a distraction...

I'm in a 12 person league, so quality is hard to come by. Franchez puts up a nice average. he hurts me in power numbers. my other two guys are Aaron Hill whos killing me in all categories, and Danny Espinoza whos got a lot of rbi's, but not much else. im pretty much screwed regardless, lol.

i had wiggington but he wasnt playing enough this year. i also had Uribe, but he was killing me in april and i dropped him. i usually mix and match a lot with my teams. made a lot of moves.

Urban said Baggs tweeted he was unhappy. he also said that since the team is doing good, Burrell needs to shut his mouth. but that Boch has to worry since Burrell is such a big figure in the clubhouse, and he's close with Huff that it could cause a problem.
