Looking at the standings is a pleasant experience. Winning record on the road, +5 run differential, 3 game lead on the D-backs, 2nd best record in the NL, Rockies 7 games back.

It's a beautiful thing.

One of my rituals is looking at the box score and the standings after a win. But after a loss I skip it...

His trade value will never be higher. He is refreshed and rested. He's learned his lessons in the minors. He is motivated. And undefeated since his injury in April. We could probably get AGon for him, if the Red Sox would throw in someone else.

You forgot the best part: there is very little video of him, so the league hasn't (re) figured him out yet.

Rox just won on a walkoff bloop single in front of the CF that he lackadaisically fielded. To be fair it was the 13th inning, Rox at home, they were going to eventually win.

A Zito Crawdford trade for Jose Reyes is not out of the question. Maybe get a third team involved with young prospects who can take on Zito for the playoff push.
