At short, Hanley Ramirez is an all-star, and has been a huge headache for the Fish. Could he be obtained? His lifetime OBP is .380! He has power and can run.

Personally, I think Reyes is a pipe dream. Too fragile, too expensive. Unless we can dump some of BZ's $$$, no way we get Reyes.

I heard Ramirez was injured and going to have surgery and most likely miss the beginning of next season .

Kinda sucks for fans of the game in general this year. All of September to play and the playoffs are pretty much set. The only 'drama' is who wins the AL West, and which of the AL East $$ teams gets the division and which gets the WC.

Got to disagree there. There are a number of teams he'd be a #2/3 guy for. He's got value. The question is: does he have more value to us than to another team?
