Hopefully they continue to make him work. He's already at 49 pitches. Hopefully he doesn't last past the 6th.

The manager went out in the 9th to pull him, and they had a long discussion onthe mound. Wasn't Jackson just coming off the DL or something (there was a legit concern about his pitch count, if mem serves).


IDR, but I do remember the conference on the mound where he almost pulled him. I think he had walked a guy right after that too.

I think that in that situation, you have to leave it up to the pitcher. That is a once in a career opportunity. I still, to this day, do not understand how Chuck Finley could have been pulled from that game.
