Well, I would say that was a pretty successful half inning. Even got the pitcher out of the way in the batting order.

Why do you say that? Good HR call?

"Yesterday the Giants capitalized in this situation when Pat Burrell hit a 3-Run Home Run to take a 4-0 lead in the first. PABLO HIT'S THIS ONE FAR!! IT'S DEEP!!!..."

It would be nice to see a strike out. The Giant defense is gonna give me a heart attack.

Sanchez's no-no=better than Ubaldo's.

Sanchez's no-no is, in a way, better than a perfect game because he esssentially had to induce 28 outs. If I remember correctly, he didn't walk anyone and the only reason it wasn't a perfect game was because of an error.

Yeah, by Juan Uribe, who happen to be a "defensive replacement"

Boy, he was masterful that night.

I am thinking it was a good thing that we kicked him while he was down. We may not lay another hand on him all game.

Recently the only closer one I can think of was Edwin Jackson's last year. I think he had 8 walks and like 148 pitches lol!

That's the one...

The manager went out in the 9th to pull him, and they had a long discussion onthe mound. Wasn't Jackson just coming off the DL or something (there was a legit concern about his pitch count, if mem serves).
