D@mmit.

Stros, like the Padres, are way under-talented, but seem to play some pretty decent fundamental baseball. Single, sacrifice, RBI hit.

Our old, slow, hitters can't do spit. I hate this. Words are really inadequate to express my disgust at the Giants' offense in all phases. But I love the pitching. (Though not exactly happy with Affeldt at the moment.)

This offense has made me start wanting to sign Prince, Albert (LOL if possible), Reyes. Or even 2 of the three :target:

Almost every single loss should be charged to the offense. I'm not going to bother looking it up but I bet we haven't lost more than a game or two when scoring 4+. This loss shouldn't be charged to Affeldt, it should be to the offense. FYWW can't pitch 6 shutout innings every day.

Michaels, hitting less than .200, comes in and whacks a double. Affeldt "out of sorts" according to Fleming.

If he is struggling, why not pull him, or have we simply given up already. A one run lead?

Michaels is one of those guys who flat out sucks but seems to hurt us.

(Craig Counsill, Augi Ojeda, David Ecstein). They all have weird names that I can't spell too

Interesting.

If I am Milwaukee, no way am I letting Fielder walk.

Cards may be persuaded to let Pujols go.

I would sign either of them.

I think Reyes is far too fragile to sign, and way too expensive. Fielder and Pujols would make this lineup of hitters better, unlike China Doll.

Glad I am not in charge on that one, and that I am not paying.

Reyes no, too injury prone. Pujols too old, he'll get a 8-10 year deal.

Fielder would be ok with me but it's not going to happen at our payroll level.

And 1B is Belt's. We need a stud CF and a stud SS. Reyes would almost work but I fear the DL with him.

let's not get ahead, I'm not even sure about the Giants winning the Cubs series at this point. They could be 6 or 7 games out by the time Arizona rolls in.

It doesn't matter anymore...even the last 2 wins didn't make me feel like we were a playoff team.

If we go after Reyes this is how I would do t

Bring him to our park, show him Triples Alley, let him stare at it.

He will sign

Thats what I'm saying. I dont want any of these guys, but the offense is so futile, I keep getting bad thoughts.
